This training is uniquely designed to promote a deeper understanding of misogyny, transphobia, and anti-Black racism, which often intersect to create compounded barriers for Black trans and non-binary individuals navigating the legal system.

Since its inception, Black Femme Legal (BFL) has been a leader in providing legal and non-legal resources to support Black 2SLGBTQI+ communities and precarious workers.

For Kamariah, volunteering with Black Femme Legal was more than an introduction to the legal field—it was a transformative journey blending skill-building, personal growth, and meaningful community engagement.
